Fascinating Fortuna best 7-year-old in Opglabbeek

Dutch Sport Horse Sales horses have once again proven to be in shape. Fascinating Fortuna and Kamara van ‘t Heike, both sold in 2015, put down good results in 7-year-old categories in Opglabbeek. Haufom and Larca van Erpecom also rode clear rounds.

On Thursday April 20th, the talented Kamara van ‘t Heike (by Epleaser van ‘t Heike) under Tom Slattery and Fascinating Fortuna (by Zapatero VDL) under Patrick Lemmen both came into action in the CSIYH1* 7-year-old class. They both rode a clear round. Fascinating Fortuna became second and Kamara van ‘t Heike finished fourth.

First twice
Haufom (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) appeared in the arena under Tom Slattery on Thursday. With a nice ride, the combination ended in a shared first place. They repeated this a day later when they once again ended up in a shared first place in the 5-year-old category.

The mare Larca van Erpecom (by Kashmir van Schuttershof) managed to finish in third place with the Irishman Tom Slattery in the 6-year-old category on the last day of the event in Opglabbeek.

Fascinating Fortuna first at the 7-year-olds
Fascinating Fortuna and Patrick Lemmen won their last performance in Opglabbeek. With a very fast ride they were able to win the 7-year-olds category. Kamara van ‘t Heike was less than one second slower and became third under Tom Slattery.
