The six-year-old Canturano-son Extra B is out of the full-sister of the Olympian Star Power. Under the legendary Canadian rider, Ian Millar, the Quick Star-son jumped at the Olympic Games in London 2012, was Canadian champion, and won innumerable top rankings in Grand Prix and Nations Cups. Grandsire Quick Star was a phenomenon in the sport and is the sire of Big Star (Nick Skelton), Orient Express HDC (Patrice Delaveau), Stella (Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum) and Quick Study (Lauren Hough). Stal Hendrix bought Extra B when he was very young, and trained the gelding there. Extra B is characterised by a fantastic attitude, something he has in common with his grandsire Quick Star and uncle Star Power.
