Facing a bright future is this extremely talented Freya d’Ambel, who was declared French champion of the mares in Fontainebleau as a four-years-old. Now as a six-years-old, she continues to impress with her very consistent jumping technique and she jumps clear rounds time after time, giving her rider a fantastic feeling. Freya d’Ambel is sired by the Grand Prix stallion Padock du Plessis, who is making a name for himself as a progenitor thanks to offspring such as Jukebox, Calypso du Matis, G&C Urika du Plessis as well as Baladin des Matis, who already performs at the highest level. Her dam Balkis d’Ambel is a half-sister of the international 1.40m level jumper Vicomte d’Ambel (s.Hornet Rose) and from this direct damline also originates the international 1.45m showjumper Violette du Landel (s.Quaprice Bois Margot). Dam’s sire Cardero performed for years at the highest level under the name Champs Elysees with Julien Epaillard. He produced several striking offspring from a limited number of breedings, such as the 1.50m level performing Thalie St Loise, Alpina de Rouhet and World Cup winner Trocadero de Jarsay.
