Gitania comes from an extremely successful damline. She is by the foundation sire Cantos and out of Lux-daughter Total Touch, who is also the mother of Grand Prix show jumper Bardolino, ridden by the Japanese Reiko Takeda, and Dide, ridden by Anouk de Ruijter. Through the 1.40m jumping mare Ipsy DWJ and the successful Dide the pedigree of Gitania goes back to the well known international jumping mare Wiefke, better known as Cool Cat. Licensed KWPN stallion Nassau, who became famous with Jeroen Dubbeldam, also descends from this direct damline. Gitania herself stands out with her fantastic way of jumping, in which the bascule and reflexes are striking. In addition, this special show jumper has an excellent type and shows a lot of blood.
