Goliath is a grey gelding by the successful stallion Bustique, who caused a craze under Michel Hendrix before being exported to the United States. Goliath’s dam Zoelina, a Coriano daughter, has produced several good horses. Among them is the Vingino son Dino, who came under the saddle of Anna-Julia Kontio via DSHS and currently competes at 1.60m level under Captain Brian Cournane of Ireland. In addition, Zoelina produced the Carambole daughter Elina, who competes internationally under Alise Oken. However, these achievements are far from remarkable, given that we’re dealing with the solid Oberlina-line. For example, Zoelina is also a half-sister to Grand Prix show jumpers including Barino (Marc Bettinger) and Torano (Carolyn Curcio). Under Nicole Mestrom, Goliath proved himself a very complete horse that stands out in competitions time and again. Goliath is qualified for the KWPN Championships.
