High Five features a dream pedigree: the foundation stallions Cardento, Heartbreaker, Indoctro, Voltaire and Ramiro are united in the lineage of this five-year-old gelding. In addition, High Five is out of a dam-line replete with sporthorses. His dam Derke competed at the 1.35m level, and his granddam Zara and great-granddam Tantiene were also successful show jumpers. Tantiene’s dam, the Ramiro daughter Estrella, also produced the international Grand Prix show jumpers Wallstreet (Camila Mazza de Benedicto), Vennoot (Joseph Davison), Santos (Braden James & Tamie Phillips), Rolls (Paul Halpern), Morning Star (Dave Maarse) and the KWPN stallion Astrello (Vadzim Charavan). High Five, who was purchased by Stal Hendrix as a four-year-old, completed the young horse trajectory in Belgium. Furthermore, this Cardento son qualified for the Belgian Championships in Gesves. High Five sets himself apart in particular with his outstanding rideability and abundant scope, making him very likely to excel as have previous Cardento offspring in the DSHS auction.
