As his name suggests, Istinov is a son of the top sire Ustinov. This talented Libero H son has produced numerous successful international show jumpers, and many Ustinov offspring have found their way to top stables via the Dutch Sport Horse Sales auction. Istinov is out of V.Sellie, a daughter of the Voltaire son Vegas out of a Coriander mare. V.Sellie is also the dam of two horses ridden by Joy Lammers: the international show jumper Erka, a Calvaro Z daughter; and the successful show jumper Fellie, a Ukato daughter. In addition, V.Sellie is a half-sister to the international Grand Prix show jumper T Sellie. Istinov’s dam has produced multiple successful show jumpers; and with Istinov’s talent, there is every possibility that he will become an international show jumper.
