Five-year-old Jagger d’Helula stands out with his reflexes and natural presence. There are just a few of the many good traits he inherited from his sire. Under Harrie Smolders Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof performed at the highest level and in breeding this sire is among the best of his peers with offspring such as Mandato van de Neerheide, Jaguar van de Berghoeve and Nikka van den Bisschop.
On the dam’s side, this five-year-old gelding represents a French performance lineage that has produced many international show jumpers. His dam Telula Hoy performed in the international sport up to 1.35m level and carries the genes of the French top-stallion Nartago, who himself performed at the highest level. Through the combination of Emerald and Nartago, Jagger d’Helula carries the blood of Olympic jumper Carthago twice.
Mother Telula Hoy is a half-sister of Jesper Romp’s international 1.45m jumper Qualif de Thurin (s.Socrate de Chivre) and grandmother Gazelle de Thurin can also be found in the second generation behind the international 1.50m jumpers Vaja Hoy (s.Watch Me van ‘t Zorgvliet) and Alias Hoy (s.Litchi Hoy) as well as the 1.45m-ranked Carmina Hoy (s.Watch Me van ‘t Zorgvliet).
