With his perfect jumping manners and excellent rideability, it is immediately evident that this handsome five-year-old talent belongs in this auction. Jasco is from the first crop of foals by Cidane, who competed internationally at the 1.40m level; as a youngster, he was often unbeatable under Kristian Houwen. Jasco likewise inherited strong jumping genes from his dam’s side, for he is a half-brother to the KWPN-approved stallion Grodino (s.Eldorado van de Zeshoek), who excelled this summer as an eight-year-old in the international 1.45m classes with Ben Schröder. In addition, his dam produced several 1.30/1.35m show jumpers. Jasco also inherited many good traits from his dam’s sire Celano, who competed at the highest level under Rob Ehrens and with whom Jasco shares many similarities. The dam-line traces back to Hidorina, a half-sister to the renowned Grand Prix show jumper San Patrignano Dorina (s.Transvaal), ridden by Franke Sloothaak. This Mytens xx daughter is the granddam of the Grand Prix horse Cenzo (s.Harley VDL).
