This remarkable horse named Jet de Diablo knows what winning is, for she has led the standings of the young horse competitions multiple times in both the Netherlands and Belgium —and that’s no small achievement. This convincing jumper is by the Grand Prix stallion Don Diablo HX, who always passes on abundant ‘blood’, talent and scope to his offspring. Jet de Diablo’s dam Royal Rose is the result of a pairing between the Grand Prix stallion Royal Bravour and the Grand Prix mare Jozita, who caused a craze under Edwina Tops-Alexander. Royal Rose produced Ben Maher’s future talent Ginger-Blue (s.Plot Blue), who at age eight placed in the Grand Prix of CSI2* Keysoe this year. In addition, Royal Rose is the granddam of Hello Blue (s.Plot Blue), who was sold through Dutch Sport Horse Sales and previously competed under the name Henkie Penkie. She can also be found in the second generation behind the international 1.40m horses Gigi du Rouet (s.Balou du Rouet) and Cascin (s.Rascin). Jet de Diablo’s dam’s sire Royal Bravour competed very successfully under Peter Geerink and produced multiple Grand Prix horses, including Adare and Wang Chung M2S.
