The talented Matteo T descends from the genetically valuable stallion Scuderia 1918 Casago, who already placed in several international 1.50/1.60m Grand Prix under Piergiorgio Bucci and became Italian champion in 2020. Casago’s oldest offspring are already performing at 1.40/1.45m level at the age of 8 and he has certainly passed on his jumping qualities to Matteo T who shows
very good reflexes and a lot of scope. On his dam’s side, this top talent represents the proven Oberlina family, from which top jumpers such as Queen of Diamonds (s.Rigoletto), Olympic Andretti (s.G.Ramiro Z), and Kwidanta van de Laarse Heide (s.Quidam de Revel) have been bred. Matteo T is well on track to become the next Grand Prix horse from this line. In the third generation, this dam line goes back to a half-sister of Markus Fuchs’ Grand Prix horse Nivolinus (by Landwind II B). This direct branch also produced the international 1.50/1.60m horses Camilion vd Linthorst (s.Emilion), KM Whatever RV (s.Murano), Di Caprio RV (s.Verdi), Harley (s.Harley VDL) and Utah (by Guidam).
