With excellent performing offspring such as Martin Fuchs’s European Championship medalist Leone Jei and Ben Maher’s very successful Grand Prix horse Faltic HB, Baltic VDL is well on his way on becoming a top progenitor. With this promising Midcap he once again delivers a very talented offspring. This five-year-old gelding impresses with his very good jumping technique and unlimited scope. He represents a successful damline which leads in the third generation back to the well-known foundation mare Estrella. She produced in direct line the 1.60m showjumpers Astrello (s.Casantos), Vennoot (s.Andiamo) and Rolls Royce (s.Concorde) as well as the 1.50m level horses Wallstreet (s.Hors la Loi II) and Morning Star (s.Damocles). Midcap’s dam Zara has performed at 1.35m level and has already produced two offspring at this level. Besides that, she is listed as the granddam of the international 1.45m horses Highfive (s.Cardento) and Icebreaker (s.Nabab de Rêve). Granddam Tantiene foaled several international showjumping horses as well, including the Ustinov son Fenomeen, who has already proven to be a winner up to 1.40m level.
