As a young horse, Milancinthe D already stood out with his free jumping qualities at the stallion inspection where he was purchased by Stal Hendrix. He now seems to fully meet those high expectations under the saddle; he combines quick reflexes with a great technique and a generous dose of scope. Milancinthe D was produced in England and is now back on Dutch soil as one of the highlights of this auction collection. He comes from the first year of offspring by Impressive VDL. This son of Douglas VDL impresses with his scope and push off the ground and he also seems to pass those qualities on to his children. Dam Heyacinthe VDL is a half sister of the international 1.45m show jumper Galax VDL (s.Carrera VDL). In the third generation this line goes back to the
full sister of the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Ahorn (s.Nimmerdor ) who performed at the highest level under Roelof Bril. This Byazinthe is at the base of a whole series of international show jumpers, including Bordeaux VDL (s.Baloubet du Rouet), Icoon VDL/Rock of Cashel (s.Bubalu VDL), Fontaine Blue VDL (s.Toulon) and High Point VDL (s.Tinka’s Boy).
