Now and then a horse comes along that has it all. This very talented mare named Naomi van het Keizershof is one of the outliers of this collection because of her unlimited possibilities as a show jumper and her excellent pedigree. Her sire Cardento frequently produces very talented horses that are sold in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales auction, and with this six-year-old mare he has produced another great future talent. On her dam’s side, Naomi van het Keizershof carries the valuable performance genes of the foundation stallion For Pleasure, who even in 2019 still ranks among the world’s best sires. Her dam Benthe produced the now eight-year-old Keizershof Z (s.Bustique), who is very successful at the 1.45m level with Ali Ramsey. Benthe is a half-sister to both the Grand Prix horse Sjoeke (s.Calvados), who competed under Olivier Philippaerts; and the successful international 1.50m horse Firkov du Rouet (s.Baloubet du Rouet), ridden by Eric Lamaze. In addition, Hanne Mertens’ 1.50m horse Urgent (s.Baloubet du Rouet) is directly out of Naomi van het Keizershof’s granddam Mirkowitz, whereby this top talent comes out of a performance-rich line.
