Invest in the future in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales
15 September 2019
Next week the 16th edition of the Dutch Sport Horse Sales will take place at Equestrian Center De Peelbergen in Kronenberg (NL). On the 24th of September twenty-five top talents will be auctioned and there is a lot of international interest for the carefully selected horses. Four show jumpers with potential for the highest level are the five-year-old Jive Z.G. and Sweet Harry Potter, and six-year-old Isabella HX and Illusion.
On Monday the 23th of September, the horses will be presented under the saddle from 19:30 hrs CET. As in previous years, both the presentation and the auction, on Tuesday the 24th of September from 19:15 hrs CET, can be followed live via ClipMyHorse. Here you can also find the presentation of all the horses afterwards. The try outs are possible up to and including the auction day.
Jive Z.G.
One of the most striking five-year-old horses is the Zinedine B mare Jive Z.G. (ds.Diamant de Semilly), who is bred out of a half-sister of the international 1.55m show jumper Fer Z.G. (s.Nabab de Rêve) of Paolo Adorno and several 1.40m horses. This top talent won the five-year competition at Jumping Peel & Maas this summer. “Jive Z.G. seems to have it all. In recent months she has developed tremendously and now she is really one of the highlights in our collection. With both her good rideability and her undeniable jumping talent, this scopy mare is a horse with a lot of potential for the future”, explains Timothy Hendrix.
Sweet Harry Potter
The five-year-old Swedish bred Sweet Harry Potter (Corporal VDL x Silvio I) is also a horse for the future. This year he stood out in the young horse competitions with his scope, good jumping technique and extra rideability. “Sweet Harry Potter is a horse with unlimited possibilities. He combines a lot of quality on the jump with a surplus of scope, and thus seems to become a horse for the big classes. It’s another future talent of which we are very happy to be able to offer in our auction.”
Isabella HX
The Diamant de Semilly mare Isabella HX comes from Stal Hendrix’s own breeding program. As a daughter of two-time World Cup finalist Melisimo (s.Libero H), ridden by Michelle Spadone, her own qualities do not come as a surprise. Her half-brother Robin Hood W (s.Animo) participated with Ben Maher in the same World Cup final in Las Vegas as their dam Melisimo. “The six-year-old Isabella HX is genuinely a dream horse both under saddle and genetically. She is careful, has a top attitude and jumps with a great technique. This mare by Diamant de Semilly fits every rider. We are sure everyone is going to be very happy with her!” As a four-year-old, Isabella HX already won the Stal Hendrix competition and in 2018 she was able to finish as runner-up in this leading young horse competition.
Illusion
Another notable six-year-old is the Don Diablo HX son Illusion (ds.Voltaire), who is also developing into a horse for the big sport. “This big gelding canters and jumps with a lot of power. On the jump he shows a lot of scope, an excellent technique and very good use of the hindlegs. He is a horse that we will certainly hear about in the future, he has a lot of potential”, concludes Timothy Hendrix. From his damline, several family members already showed their quality in the international sport. Illusion is related to Grand Prix show jumpers like Vasco da Gama 3 (s.Quito de Baussy) and Zephire (s.Coriano).
